Accessibility Statement

Accessible Website

An accessible website is a site that enables people with disabilities and elderly people to browse at the same level of efficiency and enjoyment as all users.

Approximately 20–25% of the population encounter difficulties using the internet and may benefit from more accessible web content, according to a study conducted in 2003 by Microsoft.

Smartour believes in and works toward equal opportunities in the digital space for people with various disabilities and/or those who use assistive technologies to operate computers.

Website Accessibility

Nowadays, when the internet is used for many aspects of daily life by most people, it is essential to make every website accessible to allow for a comfortable browsing experience.

There are individuals for whom using websites is difficult or even impossible due to various disabilities.

As a result, we make every possible effort to promote and make our websites accessible to everyone.

Our vision is that every person, whoever they are, will be able to choose the easiest way for them to browse the internet — and we will help make that possible.

Our guiding principle is to remember: everyone deserves equality, and we will do everything we can to achieve it.

How Accessibility Works on the Site

The site has an accessibility system by the company “Osim Shivyon” (Doing Equality) implemented, allowing users to choose more comfortable viewing and browsing options.

This site has implemented accessibility adjustments in accordance with Israeli Standard 5568 Level AA and the international WCAG 2.0 guidelines.

When clicking the accessibility icon, the accessibility menu opens.

For easy and quick navigation on the site using the keyboard, activate the “Keyboard Navigation” button in the menu and use the following keys:

  • B – Navigate between buttons

  • F – Navigate between forms

  • H – Navigate between headings

  • M – Navigate between menus

  • G – Navigate between images

  • Screen Reader: For the best browsing experience, download the NVDA screen reader to read text on the site.

If you couldn’t find the content you were looking for on the site or if you would like assistance from a service representative, press F4 to open a contact form. Leave your name and phone number, and one of our representatives will contact you.
